Your roof has two distinct kinds of protection. Here’s who stands behind each.
Malarkey’s warranties address covered manufacturing defects in its roofing products. A qualifying Certified Pro roof system can extend the non-prorated Right Start™ period to 50 years for eligible single-family primary residences.
Enhanced coverage requires eligible products, proper installation, purchase and contractor registration. Your issued Malarkey warranty controls the coverage.
Mitten Roofing & Restoration offers a five-year workmanship warranty on our installation, in addition to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.
Your written Mitten workmanship warranty provides the covered scope, conditions and service process. Contact our team with installation concerns.
Malarkey’s Certified Pro warranty does not include contractor workmanship coverage. Mitten’s five-year workmanship warranty is provided separately by Mitten.

IT TAKES A SYSTEM
Certified Pro coverage requires eligible Malarkey shingles plus at least three Malarkey accessory products.
Your system must meet Malarkey’s installation instructions and applicable building codes, including roof deck and ventilation requirements.
The certified contractor must purchase and register the Certified Pro warranty within 45 days of installation. Applicable fees and required payments must be satisfied.
Before work begins, ask us to identify your proposed warranty, qualifying accessories and any registration cost in writing. Keep your registration confirmation and warranty documents.
ANSWERS BEFORE YOU COMMIT
We’ll walk you through the warranty that applies to your roof.
No. It refers to manufacturing-defect coverage for eligible owners who maintain the qualifying single-family detached home as their primary residence. Non-prorated periods, exclusions and other limits still apply.
No. Eligibility requires the qualifying roof system, certified installation, purchase and registration. Ask which warranty is included in your proposal and keep your issued warranty confirmation.
No. Malarkey’s Certified Pro warranty excludes hailstorm damage and other listed causes. Wind coverage has its own limits and conditions. A product’s impact-resistance rating is not a guarantee against hail damage.
The Certified Pro warranty allows one transfer, subject to its terms. Malarkey must receive the transfer application within 60 days of the ownership change, and a transfer fee applies. Coverage after transfer depends on the warranty terms.
Contact Mitten with your property address, installation date, photos and warranty documents. We can help distinguish an installation concern from a manufacturer claim. Malarkey makes the determination on manufacturer warranty claims.
